The Hold Steady were excellent, creating an electric atmosphere in the Mojave tent. Their indie rock with a southern flavor is a little bit Springsteen and a little early Costello... A great set!
After seeing some of The Ting Tings in the packed dance tent, the size of which seem to overwhelm their indie dance ditties, we headed over to the main stage for Franz Ferdinand...
